Mum Mag's Mushroon Galore

Mum sent me this recipe for stir-fried shitake mushrooms that Ak fell in love with when he was staying at our place during the Christmas holidays.

Will be trying this out soon...

Subject: Mushroom galore

1. Soak dried mushrooms until soft.
2. Remove stalks and wash.Squeeze excess water from mushrooms.
3. Heat wok.Add 2 tabsp oil.Add chopped garlic(3-4 pips) and some dried prawns.
4. Fry for 2 minutes.Add mushrooms and fry for a while.
5. Add light soy sauce,abit of sugar and pepper.Continue frying for a while.6.Add water and simmer until mushrooms are soft .
7. Taste the mushrooms. The dish should have a little gravy only.
8. Line a plate with salad leaves. Dish out the mushrooms and serve with sambal belachan. Sedapnya!
